The DevOps Value Stream Mapping Workshop is a discovery workshop that helps organizations identify gaps in their DevOps capabilities, within the context of their business and IT goals. The workshop maps out the application delivery pipeline to identify areas of Waste, Wait States, and Rework, which are sources of inefficiencies in the pipeline. The result of the workshop is a roadmap made of a prioritized list of tactical and strategic steps organizations can take, and practices they can adopt, to enhance the maturity and scale of their DevOps adoption. 

The Cloud Journey Readiness Assessment is a discovery workshop that helps organizations understand their readiness to adopt the cloud, within the context of their business and IT goals. The workshop maps out the Business drivers and associated Cloud adoption scenarios that are driving the move to the Cloud. It assess various workload types to determine the best migration path and architectural patterns for deployment to the cloud. The assessment also examines the current application delivery and IT operational processes, capabilities and technology stacks to understand the gaps that will be needed to be addressed to operate in the cloud. 

The Executive leader is responsible for achieving buy-in from all relevant stakeholder, for breaking the organizational silos that prevent proper communication and collaboration, and above all for fostering a culture of trust and joint ownership across the organization, including potentially multiple vendors and suppliers. Above all the Executive leader is responsible for defining the metrics and KPIs that will reflect the progress of the DevOps transformation, while being fully aligned with the business goals of the organization. This 1⁄2-day workshop will walk thru examples and case studies of large-scale DevOps transformations the instructor has worked on, and coached Executive leaders from inception to scaled adoption. The workshop will use Value Stream Mapping as the core technique to define intermediate and final goals, understand current state, and develop a roadmap with defined steps and KPIs to get from one goal to the next. The roadmap developed will focus on the areas of standardization needed to adopt DevOps at enterprise scale.

This workshop is designed to assess the current state of maturity of an organizations Data Strategy, and to quantify the challenges being faced in delivering the business goals due to the current maturity level of how the organization manages and leverages data. The output of the assessment is a set of recommendations to help adopt a mature Enterprise Data Strategy, aligned to the business and technology goals and their future direction.
